FEEAST is delighted to be creating the first UK Central and Eastern European
Performing Arts Market on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 November 2006 10am to 6pm at
Riverside Studios, Crisp Road, London W6 9RL
CEEPAM aims to create a pool of
artistic resources for British and
Central and Eastern European arts
practitioners. It aims to facilitate the
development of international
networks of artists, producers,
venue managers and festivals
towards exchange, collaboration
and partnerships.
CEEPAM will be a meeting place of contemporary artistic creativity
and a framework for networking and communication towards mutual
understanding of cultural trends and artistic forms and the potential of
working together.
Aims of CEEPAM
• To provide a platform for Central and Eastern European countries to promote their performing arts
companies and artists and raise awareness of what they have to offer the world
• To facilitate the development of communication, relationships and collaborations between different
organisations, artists, promoters, producers, venues and festivals
• To showcase high quality representation of Central and Eastern European performing arts
• To facilitate cross border and cross art-form collaboration and productions
• To encourage Cultural Institutes, Centres and Embassies to build relationships with the UK cultural sector
and between themselves
Who is CEEPAM for?
Cultural operators and opinion formers, artistic directors, venue managers, producers, representatives of
Embassies, Cultural Institutes and Centres and funders: in fact anyone involved in the performing arts world
within the UK and internationally

Artistic ingredients of CEEPAM
• Market place/exhibition
Attractive booths where countries can promote their cultural wares. Confirmed participating countries include:
Romania, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania, Russia, Slovenia, Moldova, Croatia.
• Live showcases
On site in Studio 2
Selected performance arts groups will participate in a programmed showcase on both days. Drama/Dance/music from Croatia, Romania, The Czech Republic, Lithuania and Slovakia.
• Discussion platforms
On each of the two days CEEPAM delegates and exhibitors will be able participate in lunchtime platform discussions led by key performing arts professionals. Themes will include Central and Eastern European performing arts in the 21st century and best practice in creating intercultural understanding and creative collaboration.
Cafe/Bar area will additionally be available as a location for informal discussions in convivial surroundings.
Cost
As a pilot run of CEEPAM we want to encourage attendance. So we have kept the cost to a minimum. Tickets are just £25 for one day and £35 for two day passes. This gives you full access to all the events outlined here plus £5 off a full price ticket(s) for and of Feeast’s exciting presentations to include Farm In The Cave: The Song of an Emigrant, hot from a huge success at this years Edinburgh Fringe.
